Meet the School Counselor
Hello, I'm Mrs. Zurovetz or Mrs. Z as students like to call me. I am thrilled to be your school counselor. I have been a school counselor for the past 6 years. I received my Master's in Education from East Central University in 2013. I am happily married to Mark and we have two amazing children, Lexi and Jamin. I have 3 dogs, but Luna will join me at CLA as a therapy dog. You can learn more about Luna on her page. I'm excited to begin my 7th year as a school counselor at Carlton Landing Academy.
What does a school counselor do?
School counselors work with ALL students in a variety of ways throughout their education. The school counselor offers individual and group counseling along with classroom character education lessons. The role of a school counselor is to help students succeed academically, socially, emotionally while preparing them for their future.
